KanTRAIN is an $11,997,957 U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant program.
Washburn University serves as the lead institution of this statewide consortium consisting of four community and technical colleges: Washburn Institute of Technology, Flint Hills Technical College, Garden City Community College, and Wichita Area Technical College. The goal of KanTRAIN is to expand capacity at KanTRAIN institutions to deliver high-demand training programs and improve education and employment outcomes in health care and advanced manufacturing.
